CABELA'S

Braden needed to run down to Draper to pick up his first test scores so he could take them to the physical test for the SLC Police Department. And since we were going to be so close we decided to go to Cabela's to look around and show the boys all the animals. We told them when we were still at the house that we were going to Cabela's to see the animals, so the whole way down Alek said, "We going to Bella's to kiss the aminals!" When we were almost there we told him it was Cabela's and that he couldn't kiss the animals because they were dead. So then he started saying, "We going to Cabela's to see dead aminals!" When we got there the boys were so excited they loved it. We saw the fish in the big tanks and we were there for feeding time, the boys loved that. We saw all the animal displays, we ate lunch, and then let the boys feed the fish by the big main display. Jaxon was afraid of the fish and would barely throw his food in. This coming from the kid who was kissing sheep. What a crazy kid. The whole time we were there Alek wouldn't let go of the fact that the animals were dead. We would be sitting there and he would get so serious, whisper, and say, " These aminals are dead, they really are" It was so funny. We had such a good time. This morning Alek asked if we could go down to Bella's to see the dead aminals again. Braden is so excited that Alek loved it he can hardly stand it. Braden had so much fun in Cabela's, he was like a kid in a candy store.

Joye hit her flap up right before the picture was taken, so you can't see her face.

Cabela's wore Joye right out

The County Fair

We went to the Box Elder County Fair. We went to the parade then to the fair grounds to see the animals. We had tons of fun!
Here is Braden's sister Teonna in the parade. She made the Bear River volleyball team. Congrats!
Sara, Rylee, Big Bull, Jaxon and Alek
We went and saw the sheep. Jaxon and Alek would stick their heads through the bars to give them kisses.... on the mouth! I guess that's better than the kisses they get from our dogs.

Jaxon and Alek petting the calf. We are so proud of Jaxon. He used to be deathly afraid of animals and now we can't keep him away. He's even kissing sheep

Here is more dancing. They can't get enough of it!

It's Coming Along

Well our yard is just about done!! All of our sod is in and it looks great, there are just a couple of yellow pieces here and there. But it should pull out of it soon. We put in a water fountain, some rose bushes, and we planted a red maple tree in our front yard in a little flower garden. And the best part; we found a place to put all of our big rocks! We put the rocks around the fountain and we lined the outside edge of our flower garden. The boys were such good helpers. We were up til 11 trying to get the fountain and the rose bushes in. We made a million trips to the back yard for rocks and the boys were right there to help. Jaxon would get 2 big rocks and lug them to the dirt and Alek would get 2 little rocks but on his way back he would stop and pick up more little rocks. So Jaxon would make two trips in the time that Alek would make one. I am so excited that we are almost done with the yard!

Jaxon and Alek took a break and were playing on the trailer with the extra sod. They were playing a game, where one of them would throw a ball off into the dirt and then go get it, but when the one would be off getting the ball the other one had to lay down on the sod and pretend to be asleep. I was laughing so hard. They played this game forever. This is really how Alek sleeps, his butt is always sticking up in the air

Here's Braden working hard. He had to run wires for our fountain and our lights. I'm glad that he works so hard to get our house done. I love him!

The Best Feeling

On Sunday we got up and went to church, when we got home the boys wanted to play a game. While we played Joye sat in her chair and apparently we were boring her so she went to sleep. Then the boys went outside for a while and got filthy (what else is new), so they hopped in the bath. Whenever they get out of the bath they claim that they are freezing, so I tell them to get on the couch and I throw a blanket over them. This time they were so tired that they fell asleep. Having all of your kids asleep, is the best feeling!

BUMBO!!

Bumbo is mine and Joye’s new best friend. Bumbo is a seat that she can sit straight up in. She always wants to be sitting straight up, if she is laying down or even sitting at an angle she throws a fit. My arms get tired holding her, plus nothing else gets done. She loves it, as you can see, but she doesn’t like it for long periods of time, so I need to work fast. At least I can get some things done. Hallelujah!

Braden's Scare

We borrowed my dad's trailer to get our sod. His trailer had hay on it so Braden unloaded it by himself. On his way home his throat started to close off, he got hives all over his body, mostly on his arms, his right eye almost swelled shut and his left was on its way. He called me on the way home I knew something was wrong, he sounded awful. He told me that he looked worse than it was....YA RIGHT! I about died when he walked in. We pumped him full of allergy pills and put eye drops in. When I put the drops in, his eye was so swollen that he had to pry it open and it still wasn't a very big slit. It took a couple hours for his hives to die down, and the rest of the day for his eyes to go back to normal. Here's some pictures, they are kinda blurry but you can still see how bad his face was. After these pictures were taken his eyes got a little bit worse.

WE HAVE GRASS!!!!!

Here is our grass! We are all so excited to have grass. Our back yard is only 3/4 done, but we are getting the last of the sod tomorrow. They told us not to run on the sod til it takes. The boys have a hard time with this concept. In the center of the front yard we're planting a shade tree and flowers.

South Weber Days

This last weekend we went to South Weber Days. We had tons of fun! We went to the parade, the fair and watched my nieces dance, then fireworks of course :)
Me and Joye at the parade

Jaxon's ready for candy! He couldn't of held his bag with his hands, he needed those for candy. Next best thing..... EARS!

Alek's too cool for the parade.

Here's Alek dancing at the fair. He never moves his feet, but he sure can dance. Sorry it's sideways.

Fireworks tired them out.

Don't they look happy? This is after fireworks, they both said they were freezing.

Anderson Reunion

We had so much fun at the reunion. We wish Erick and Leslie could have been there, we missed them.
Water fun! Jax and Hayden
Alek enjoyed his ice cream a little too much. He's such a goof!
The Kids
Joye and Jairon's girlfriend Kelsey.
Our "Bundle of Joye"
We had tons of fun at fireworks. Except for Jaxon running away and scaring me half to death. I think I had more fun watching Jairon and the kids than the fireworks.

The kids had too much fun beating up Jairon. So funny!

2 New Babies

Jaxon and Alek have taken over Joye's bouncer. They figure if she won't use it, they will.
