Getting Too Big

It was a pretty nice day outside yesterday. And today snow, but that's beside the point. The boys were playing outside and Alek came in saying Jaxon needed help that he was stuck. Well Braden went out to see what was going on and Jaxon's training wheels were broken and falling off. So we decided that this was a good opportunity to teach him how to ride a two-wheeler. He did awesome. He picked up on it so fast.
We couldn't let Jaxon have all of the fun, and someone needed to show him how it was done. So Braden and I stepped up to the plate.
Braden isn't flexible enough to sit and get his legs on the pedals, so he had to stand up.

Last Weekend

This is a little late. Last weekend Chris and Staci were in town so we went over to see them. It has been forever, and we hadn't met their baby Kyrie yet. It was so sunny that we couldn't get the kids inside for anything. We all had tons of fun. Everyone was there except for Erick, Leslie, Bryn and Kyler. We missed them.

Rylee and Jaxon, getting along in this picture. It's not a big surprise when they don't get along, so we have to get a picture when they do :)
Cute Kyrie. I love this picture she's sticking her tongue out for Uncle Braden.
I loved this picture of Avery. She loved being outside. She sat on her blanket all day.
Alek loving on Avery. He sure does love the babies.
Ice Cream!! Homemade is the best. The kids are always so excited to help crank.
Here's Jaxon taking his turn
Avery must have gave Joye the stink eye.
Joye loves homemade ice cream. But then again, who doesn't? I would hold the cone away from her and she would lean over where ever it was a get her share.
The 2008 Beauties
Avery 6 months, Joye and Taylor 10 months and Kyrie 3 months.
We're going to have our hands full when they get a little bigger
About half way through the day Braden and I were wrestling and I won! Both him and his pants :) I took him down and Braden had free air conditioning. He decided to fix them the redneck way...Ducked Tape!!! This is the after shot. I didn't get the before shot, it wasn't too appropriate for the blog anyway.

Happy Birthday Momma Tina!

It was Momma Tina's Birthday Today. And the Boy's were so excited. They both woke up pretty much singing "It's Momma Tina's Birthday Today!!" They were so excited to go to the cemetery. They wanted to go right when they got out of bed. When I told them that we had to wait for Braden to get home, they were so disappointed. When we got to the cemetery it was so cold; we didn't get to stay very long. Then we went to the Anderson's and had pizza and kids got to decorate cupcakes, for Tina's birthday. They had so much fun.

Braden talking to the boys about Tina
Jaxon kissing Momma Tina good-bye. Alek was too stubborn today and wouldn't

Staci and Chris are still in town, and Alek has took a liking to babies the last little while and he wanted to hold Kyrie. He is such a sweetheart to the babies.

More Photoshop!

So Braden has been playing some more. I told him to pick a picture and do lots of different things to it so here they are.
The Original
He cropped it, got rid of the hose and the toy keys. He got the mud and scratches off the car, and made the grass green.
Black & White
Black & White with colored car.
This one reminds me of the movie Pleasantville. Where things start changing into color.
This one he tried to make it look like a painting. Making it look like a painting takes a long time, and it's hard. It's going to take a lot of practice.
I did this one. I just did Joye colored.

But I Just Wanted To Swing!

So since it has been good weather the last few days, all the boys want to do is be outside. Well they were out there and Jaxon started yelling for help that he was stuck and needed help. Braden got up and looked outside, he started laughing and said come here and bring the camera. Jaxon found the baby swing, put his legs through, then got stuck. We asked him what he was doing, he would just way over and over, I just wanted to swing! We just thought that he had shut the ropes in the Suburban door, when Braden went to see he had hooked them through the latch for the door. He was determined to swing. It was so funny.

He looks like he is in trouble, but he's not. I don't know why he wouldn't smile.
The kids have been having so much fun outside.

Easily Entertained

So a few weeks ago I put the pull ups potty dance commercial on the bottom of the blog. I laugh my butt off every time I see it. Well this one is 10 times better so it had to go in a post. I am very easily entertained, so if you don't think it's funny that's ok.

Braden Having Fun!

When Joni came up this weekend she helped us with Photoshop. Braden has been playing with it ever since. He loves it. He's doing a pretty good job. Thanks Joni.

FINALLY!!!

Joye's 1st tooth finally broke through! We were beginning to think that she didn't even have any. Her gums on the bottom have been red and swollen for like 3 weeks. When she would wake up in the morning I would check to see if her tooth broke through. This morning she could feel that something was different. She sucked her bottom lip in and bit down with her top gums. She was biting so hard that I couldn't pry her mouth open. I had to trick her to get her to open up. She is such a stinker sometimes, so stubborn. Wonder where she got that from...couldn't have been from her mother and father, or could it?

When Mom's Not Looking

I had to go to the bathroom, so I told the boys to watch Joye and make sure she is okay and doesn't eat anything she shouldn't be. Well I came out of the bathroom and the boys ran out of the living room. I just thought they were excited to go play. Nope! They thought they were in trouble. This is what I found.
They decided that they like Oreo's so Joye must. Yeah she did. She had it everywhere. So I cleaned her up and I couldn't find the boys. So I looked in their room and my room, I couldn't hear them downstairs. So I left it alone for a while thinking they'd come out. Joye needed a diaper change so I walk into her room to grab a diaper and there were the boys sitting in her crib. They climbed up some how and then they couldn't get out.

Our Silly Boys

The boys were being so silly the other day. First of all they wanted their coats on inside and they had to have their hoods up. Then I looked over and Jaxon was laying in the laundry basket with his covers on and the remote in his hands. He would try to change the channel every commercial. Luckily he only had the DVD remote.

My mom loved porcelain dolls, she had a ton. Anyway when I was little she bought a doll that looked like a baby. It's body, arms and legs have beads inside them so they are soft, but the head, hands and feet are porcelain. I loved this doll! My mom would put it up in her curio cabinet and pretty much everyday I would go when she wasn't looking and get this doll out and play with her. I was at my Dad's the other day and I went and found her and brought her home. She had one of my doll blankets wrapped around her. I put her on the couch and Alek found her and fell in love. He has held that doll for 2 days. He didn't want to go to dance, because he wanted to sit and hold her. He will kiss her and talk to her. He tells everyone to be quiet, because we are scaring the baby. He didn't care this much about Joye when we brought her home.

What Kind Of Parents Are We!!!

From smoking to stripping! Joye has figured out how to take her arms out of her shirt. Once she gets one out she is content. So she usually just has a toga on. I bet in the next few days I'll catch her smoking while naked. She is such a goof. She has the funniest personality.

Alek still loves his smoking, stripping sister

Our Little Smoker

Joye was in her walker yesterday and I gave her a pretzel. I left the room and when I walked back in I had to take a double take. I swear she had a cigar. She was holding it just like you would hold a cigar. I laughed so hard, and she just looked at me like I was crazy. Well I must be; I thought my 9 month old had a cigar.

This is a random picture. Our backdoor neighbors dogs have been breaking through the fence to come play with Mustang and Shelby, it's a weird change, Mustang is usually the one breaking through. Anyway, I looked out yesterday and their dogs were curled up together. They were so cute, I had to take a picture.

What A Cutie... OH!

Joye has started to make goofy faces. She scrunches up her nose, then breathes really heavy out of it. She looks so goofy. We were in Sam's and we walked past one of the women handing out samples. She said, "Ah, What a cutie" and smiled at Joye. Joye pulled her goofy face and started breathing hard the lady was taken back. She jumped a little and said "Oh!" I said." Yeah she's a cutie til she does that, huh" It was so funny. People would ask us where she got it from, we always said it came from me cause I pull funny faces now, but I was looking through my pictures from when I was a baby and found 2 or 3 when I was about her age pulling the same exact face. So I guess it's my fault.
Here's Joye
And here's me
Looking through all of my pictures we have decided that Joye and I look a ton alike. I found one of me and handed it to Braden and he thought that it was a picture of Joye. I think that the only big difference between us are her pretty dimples.
