Ever since
Jaxon started riding a two wheeler,
Alek has been having a hard time.
Alek wants to do the same things. When
Jaxon could ride,
Alek cried. When
Jaxon lost his teeth,
Alek cried. I held him and told him, that sometimes
Jaxon would do things first and sometimes he would do things first. This didn't help. As most of you know, the boys have trouble saying their
r's. They would come out as
e's. For example water is
watie, there is they, bear is bay. You get the idea. One day the boys were in the tub, and
Jaxon yelled, "Mom, I don't want to wash my hay."
Alek looked at him and said, "It's called hair. You can't say it right."
Alek came out and said that he could say hair. So we tested him: year, bear, water etc. All of them came out right. He taught himself how to say
r's. I told him that this was one of the things that he did before
Jaxon. Well a few days ago, he was determined to ride that two wheeler. He did it! He got on and with a little help from dad he was off. They are both so excited that they can ride big two wheelers.
