Joye's Toe Update

When we went to Arizona, Joye got her toe caught under the door and ripped her toenail off. While we were there the toenail laid down so we just left it on. When we got home and Joye started playing it started lifting up, so Dr. Daddy took charge. We put an Elmo movie on the computer, I held her and Daddy went to work. She was so brave. The only time she cried was when we got down, the nail was a little connected still. This is a picture of her toenail right after we cut the nail off. There is just a little sliver of a nail left. After a week or two, Joye started to play with the little sliver and made it lift up and she finally pulled it off. So right now her toe has no nail and is just scabbed over. I think I am starting to see the new nail starting to grow in. What a tough girl!
